Returns & Refund policy

Returns 
We want you to love your purchase and totally understand that in some cases you may need to return your purchase. Please read all terms and conditions below before returning items.

Not completely happy with your purchase? We offer refunds on FULL PRICED ITEMS only, with all return claims to be lodged within 7 days of receipt of your parcel. We encourage you to try on your garments as soon as possible and get in contact with us if not completely happy.

To complete your return, you MUST email ynotsissy@hotmail.com with reason for return along with your name and order number and receive approval prior to shipping back to us. Once approved all returns need to be received by us within 14 days. Claims outside these periods are not valid, returned items with no prior correspondence or approval will not be accepted.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, not damaged, altered and in the original condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with tags attached All returns need to be free of makeup, odours and soiling and in a saleable condition. 

DISCOUNT CODES
Items purchased using a discount code are eligible for a store credit only (if they meet the returns criteria). Unfortunately, we are not able to off a refund for items purchased with a discount code. You will be issued a store credit for the amount paid.

Pre Order Items 
Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds or returns on items that have been purchased on Pre Order. Due to the nature of a pre order system and to reduce waste, we only make the amount of garments that are ordered in the pre order timeframe. This garment has been specially made and custom ordered for you. 

If you place an order that contains a pre order item, as well as any other products, your order will be held until the pre order item arrived - all items in your order will be shipped together. 

Change of mind on purchase will only qualify for a CREDIT and only within the elegible time frames.

Faulty Items or items you think may be faulty should be brought to our attention immediately. Wear and tear in the course of normal use is not considered a manufacturing fault. If you would like a product quality assessed as a faulty item you have 7 days (from receiving) to return it to us. 

Sale items 
Only full priced items may be refunded, SALE items are not eligible for refund.

Exchanges 
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for an identical style please email at ynotsissy@hotmail.com and we will approve and update you with returns process details.

Refunds 
Please allow 2 business days for us to process your refund. All approved refunds will be put back on the payment method you made payment with. Normal banking timelines will apply and funds may take up to 5 business days to appear in your account.

Shipping fees are not refundable. All returned goods are your responsibility until they reach us so please use trackable postage and keep parcel tracking details.

Return Postage costs for a return are at your expense except in the case where Y Not Sissy has made an error or the item is faulty.

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again, then contact your financial institution as it may take some time before your refund is processed.

Restocking
All returned items are steam cleaned twice in line with Covid guidelines.

If your Gift item is approved for a refund and the item wa smarked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. 
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver.
